Nature & White Villages is an ideal opportunity for customers to experience the beautiful rural scenery and culture of inland Andalucia. The route takes us over the Sierra de Mijas and to the start of the Guadalhorce valley. A fertile and pretty agricultural area, we visit one of the main villages in the valley, Alhaurin el Grande, before taking some country tracks through the rural, natural sights of this wonderful valley, heading over towards the Sierra de las Nieves. The valley can be a great place to get the monoculars out and see the birds, wildlife and nature up close!

We pass through spectacular scenery and rural areas which have not changed for many years.
We stop for lunch at the picturesque village of Casarabonela, allowing time to explore this delightful Andalucian village. We provide customers with a map for a short walking route through the village, allowing them to wander through the village and experience the timeless atmosphere of Casarabonela.

Driving through the area of the Sierra de las Nieves, the countryside is a contrast to the morning with its mountains and almost alpine feel. Tolox is a village with natural spring waters and sits nestled in the hills. We stop for a while in a tranquil spot with spectacular views over Tolox and the whole area. We head back towards the coast through pretty rural scenery.

Menga Dolmen Antequera Spain.jpg

This tour takes us north of Malaga and is a day full of history and wonderful scenery.

The town of Antequera has been populated for thousands of years and we start the tour by visiting the dolmens which are tombs dating back over 5000 years.

The dolmens are a UNESCO world heritage site . The area we visit includes three megalithic monuments built in the Neolithic and Bronze age, made out of  large stone blocks. The monuments are an architectural wonder dating back over 5000 years. (older than Stonehenge).

We go to the town of Antequera itself and to its historic quarter which has ancient and moorish remains plus wonderful "colonial" style 18th and 19th century architecture buildings. You have time to wander around this area at your leisure.
